Welcome to the Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club |
|
The Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club is within easy reach of Nottingham, Leicester, Newark and Grantham and offers a superb 18-hole parkland course measuring 6374 yards with three of the most challenging finishing holes in Nottinghamshire. The SSS is 71 and par is 70. The Golf Club was founded in 1909 with approximately 40 acres of land, and affords splendid views over the Vale of Belvoir, the castle itself appearing in the background. Lord Manvers leased to the Club enough land to open its original 9-hole course and thereafter the Club adopted the Manvers coat of arms as its crest. In 1924 the Golf Club purchased the land from Lord Manvers and acquired a further 50 acres enabling the 18-hole course to be formally opened in 1925. |
