A modern day members club blended with traditional values.
Welcome to The Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club, which was founded in 1909. The Club has a rich history and heritage which it is extremely proud of and can boast royalty and world class golfers like Harry Vardon and Justin Rose to have graced it’s fairways.
Located just minutes from Nottingham, The Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club combines over a century of heritage with the standards and quality of a modern championship venue.
Since 1909, the Club has built a distinguished reputation as one of the most welcoming and well-presented golf courses in Nottinghamshire.
Originally designed by the acclaimed course Architect, Tom Williamson, whose portfolio spans more than 60 courses in the UK and overseas, the layout continues to offer a compelling test of golf – strategic, beautifully maintained and enjoyable for players of all abilities.
We are an England Golf Championship Venue and host to the prestigious McGregor Trophy – The English Boys’ Under 16’s Championship which was won in 1995 by Justin Rose. The Club reflects both competitive excellence and an enduring commitment to the development of the game.
Whether you are an experienced golfer, a beginner looking to take up the game, or searching for a welcoming and vibrant golf club community, our flexible golf membership options offer a fantastic way to enjoy golf
“We have played in the Seniors Open today and I would like to thank all concerned with organizing the event.
The course was in fantastic condition with the greens a credit to your greenkeeping team.
We were made to feel very welcome from start to finish by the Seniors Captain only to be topped off by a very nice meal served by friendly members of the clubhouse team.
I play in a lot of open competitions not only in Nottinghamshire but around the Midlands and your event today rates second to none.
Thank you and we look forward to visiting and playing at your club again”
Kind Regards Edwin Lambley
“Hi, after recently visiting on a society day I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was.
The course was in great condition for the back end of September and was both interesting and challenging.
I cannot express how wonderful your team and members made us feel even negotiating around our society of 4 tee times to keep everything flowing and all parties enjoying the day.
To cap it all, when we had finished and were having our small presentation your, what I believe to be, Lady and Gents Captains took the trouble to ask if we had a good time.
Cannot thank you enough and please keep up the fantastic work and I will always sing your praises and hopefully be back for another round soon.”
