Dress code

We trust our guests and members to dress appropriately for a golf club and as such we no longer have a rigid dress code.

However, the guidance below should help you determine what is appropriate:

Appropriate golf attire or smart casual wear.

Deck shoes or sandals (with or without socks)

Denim trousers/skirts and shirts.

Hats (apart from religious observance)

Golf shoes of any description in the main dining area  (Due to weather conditions)

Tracksuits or torn jeans.

Beach or athletics/football shorts.

Vests, athletic or sports shirts.

Plastic or rubber flip-flops.

Smart recognized golf attire will be accepted at all times.

Smart golf shorts must be accompanied by the wearing of white ankle/trainer/sport socks which are acceptable for both ladies and gentlemen.

Trousers must not be tucked into socks, except when wearing waterproofs over trousers.

Men's shirts should be worn inside trousers/shorts.

Golf shoes must be worn by players at all times.

Golf headgear must be worn correctly, with the peak to the front.

Players must wear conventional golf shoes on the course at all times. We recommend a "soft spike" shoe policy from 1st April - 31st October.
Spectators may wear suitable flat shoes on the course including training shoes.

The following attire is NOT permitted on the Course.
Any form of denim, T-shirts, vest tops, walking shoes, track or leisure suits, beach or combat shorts and plastic beach flip-flops.

All devices must be on silent at all times.

Mobile phones may be used on the course in emergency situations only.

Where to find out what's on

If you are unsure as to what is on at the club just click on the 'General' header on the website menu- it's at the top and it will list 'Diary' as the first item - click on it to see the content.

That will open up the diary to reveal the current month from which you can look at anything already booked into the system - including golf and social events.
Keep an eye on the Social notice boards in the clubhouse for any new events coming up.

What's Next

Dates for your Diary -scroll further down for specific detail which will be posted as and when available.

Also keep an eye on the Social Notice Board.

Looking forward to a summer of great golf and smashing weather. Watch this space - a snippet of what's to come on the winter social programme. More information on social and other notice boards.
